Oroklini is the home of many EU expats and along with its neighbour village Pyla form the second major tourist hub of Larnaca, just 10mins drive to the centre. The tourist zone along the beach with its 5-star hotels, combines with the preserved historic core to provide a blend of traditional and cosmopolitan living.
A town redefined
The area is undergoing a major redevelopment including a long pedestrian road linking Oroklini beach to Larnaca seafront, as well as three new hotels including Radisson Beach Resort and Floating Scapes, estimated at €200million.
Live next to Nature
Live on the beach, next to the lake or on one of the many mountain hills overseeing Larnaca bay. Traditional houses, old valley walks and natural landscape, combine with luxury properties, hotels and bars to cloud the boundaries between city and rural life.
Dine Out
Traditional pubs, music bars, taverns and resto bars provide visitors and citizens with many dining possibilities. One thing for sure, your nights here will be most interesting.
Score of activities
Enjoy bird watching at the lake, go trekking in the mountain hills, scuba dive at one of the many ship wrecks, ride on a mountain bike or relax at the beach. Oroklini offers something for everyone.
